After witnessing the spectacular Temple of Zeus, be guided around the amazing Acropolis, centrepiece of the whole of Athens, with its fabulous mix of ruins. This is topped by a visit to the Parthenon that sits tall over Athens. The Acropolis Museum is also included in the tour and is well worth a visit. Day 4

You have three days to enjoy the delights of Kos/ Being so close to the Turkish mainland you will find a very different Greece, one filled with history and charm. Historically, Kos is known as the birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of medicine. The archaeological site of Asclepion behind the town is where his first hospital was situated, and the ruins are well worth a visit. Kos town is a thriving tourist town, sensitively rebuilt after the earthquake of 1933. With its wide streets and greenery the town is a testament to modern town planning. It has a very different feel than most other island towns. With your free day you can choose to find a beach, wander the town or sit by your hotel pool. If you would like to travel further around this island, speak to us about arranging a hire car for your time on this magical island. In the evening you may choose to find dinner at one of the local restaurants or maybe find a taverna and dance the night away, taking in some traditional dancing. It is up to you to do as much or as little as you want.

Day 5

This is your last full day in Kos to make the most of this remarkable island. The most obvious attraction in the town is the Knight's castle which overlooks the town and is well worth a visit. Kos was taken over by the Knights Templar at the turn of the Millennium as were many of the Dodecanese Islands. Roaming the back streets of Kos town is a joy unto itself, away from the wide boulevards the narrow, traditional back streets have a myriad of restaurants, shops and place to discover. The time is once again yours to do as you please, and your agenda could contain another day by the pool or the beach or a roam around the centre of the island. Ensure that you take in a Turkish influenced meal while you're on the island - the food in Kos is markedly different to the other islands.

Day 6

After breakfast you will check out of your hotel, be collected by our transfer driver and taken to the port where you will catch the ferry to Patmos. It is a relatively short ferry ride to this magical island steeped in history in charm. On arrival at Patmos you will be greeted by our English speaking driver who will transfer you to your hotel. You will be spending two nights on this more sedate island, relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying all it has to offer. Find a meal in a local taverna near the hotel and take in the ambiance of this magical place.

Day 7

After breakfast use your full day in Patmos to take in it's wonderful atmosphere. This island is known for it's small out of the way beaches. It is also known for its religious associations as it is where St John wrote the Book of Revelation. The Chora, or main town in Patmos is very traditional, with its whitewashed houses and winding streets. Like many islands in the Dodecanese, the island has been home to the Knights of St John, and the Monastery and teh Cave of the Apocalypse are hill is well worth a visit. Patmos is an island on which you can relax and enjoy the serenity. Quiter than Kosand less cosmopolitan than Rhodes, this is your chance to recharge the batteries and enjoy the slower pace, wandering the narrow, whitewashed strees. There are many wonderful bars and restaurants through Patmos Town, serving tradional fare to linger away the evening.

Day 8

After breakfast you will check out of your hotel and our transfer driver will take you to the port for your ferry trip to Rhodes. Ferry travel is one of the joys of the Greek Islands, relaxing as you watch the islands and other boats go by, standing on the deck, enjoying the sunshine. On arrival at Rhodes, you will be greeted by our transfer English speaking transfer driver who will take you to the hotel of your choice. You have the next five days to explore this glorious island, the second largest of all the Greek Islands. We recommend that if you would like to explore this fascinating island more to speak to us about arranging a hire car to make the most of your time. You may also wish to spend your time relaxing by the pool or on the beach. There is so much to see and do on this busy and popular island.

Day 9

Unlike Kos and Patmos, Rhodes is a thriving metropolis, Rhodes Town being home to nearly 100,000 people. The main town is in two parts, the modern town, administrative centre of the Dodecanese Islands, with its wide streets and modern buildings, tourist facilities it will be familiar to city dwellers. It is the old town is the main attraction for many visitors. Its majestic walls are home to some of the most fascinating history in Greece. The twelve metre thick walls can be navigated by guided tour on most days. It is what is within these wall that are so fascinating. Make sure you make the time to see the history in motion that is the Rhodes Old Town. As will all of our packages, you are also free to spend your time relaxing at your hotel by the pool or to find a beach on which you can spend your day.

Day 10

Rhodes history is unlike the rest of Greece, with its long association with the Knights Templar and the Hospital of St John. The old town in separated into two parts: The Hora is more residential with its winding, with a strong Turkish influence. This is the one place in Greece that you can find a traditional Turkish bath. The cobbled streets filled with shops and restaurants and wandering it's streets is a great way to spend your day. The other part is the Knights Quarter, where the Knights of St John took up residence a millennium ago. This part of the old town is a fascinating mix of antiquities, ancient doorways and huge houses. The Palace of the Grand Masters is now a museum, a fascinating walk through the island's tumultuous history. This part of the town takes a good day to soak in the atmosphere and revel in its history. Spend the evening by the waterside at any one of the many restaurants and watch as Rhodes comes to life.

Day 11

One of the most famous things attributed to Rhodes is the Colossus, one of the Seven Wonders of the World that once straddled the harbour. This was demolished in an earthquake in the seventh centry. Today the thriving port brings in passengers from all over the world, and there are two deer which stand sentinel at the end of Mandraki harbour, mascots to the island. If you feel a bit more adventurous venture into the west of the island where there greenery is magical, or the East where the best beaches on the island are found. For those really seeking some adventure, travel to the centre of the island where there are many traditional villages to explore. The shopping in Rhodes is also very good, especially for leather goods, silver and ceramics. This is one place in Europe that still allows haggling in some of the markets, so enjoy the challenge of finding a bargain.

Day 12

This is the last full day in Rhodes to enjoy and your time, as always, is yours to do as you please. There is always the lazy option, resting by the pool or on the beach, relaxing and enjoying the sun or you can search out more treasures on the island. One treasure in the island's North is the town of Lindos, known for its water sports, its quiet harbour and it's winding white washed streets that travel up to an Acropolis at the top of the hill. There is also the Petaloudes, or the Valley of the Butterflies to wander through and enjoy. Rhodes has so much to offer the modern tourist - make the most of your time there.

Day 13

On your morning in Rhodes you will have breakfast, check out and be taken by our transfer driver to Rhodes airport for the flight back to Athens Spata airport. You will then check into the Sofitel Hotel for your final night in Greece. You may wish to take the short taxi trip or the metro into the city for you final evening, catching up on some last minute souvenir shopping in the Plaka.

The Perfect Greek Vacation

Me and my Girlfriend took a trip to Greece with Antelope Travel and it was nothing short of perfect. Their driver and staff were super helpful, polite, and warm. We gave them a few ideas and they turned it into an amazing itinerary that was both packed with fun things to do and good recommendations and flexibility to allow us to discover our destinations in Greece to the fullest. We highly recommend their services and we will be going back to them for our next Greece vacation!

Fabulous trip and attention to detail!

Anthony Alagiah with Antelope Travel planned the perfect family trip for us in June 2023. Anthony was a pleasure to work with, he communicated in detail and was very responsive to any questions I had and even stayed in touch while we were in Greece.
This was our first visit to Greece and he patiently guided me during the planning process and planned perfect itineraries for Athens, the islands and the mainland so we could experience a variety of different parts of Greece. Keeping three teenage boys engaged and interested isn't always easy but all of Anthony's tours, tour guides and activities worked perfectly for all of us!
We had many air, land and sea transfers and Anthony's planning and his partners ensured that everything went smoothly for us.
We were referred to Anthony from friends and I highly recommend him! I have now referred other friends to him, as thanks to his expertise, we had a fantastic family trip to Greece.
Athens, Santorini, Naxos, Meteori, Delphi, Athens

Amazing Travel Agency

Anthony and his team did an amazing job organizing our eight day trip to Mykonos and Santorini. They chose two excellent hotels that met our budget, and booked car transport and inter-island ferries for us. He also gave a bunch of great restaurant recommendations and was able to help us book a few last-minute items, including a wine tour! He also had local representatives on each island who we were able to call with random specific asks (e.g., last minute club reservations on Mykonos).

The only thing we'd change is that we wish we had been able to spend even MORE time in Greece! In fact, we're already hoping to take another trip next year, and if we do we'll definitely be using Anthony and team again!

Having worked with other travel agents in other regions who do not do nearly as good a job, we can honestly say we are really happy with our Antelope experience!

Detail Details Details

We worked with Anastasia at Antelope travel, who was amazing. She arranged a four hour tour in Athens and then 3 nights in Mykonos and 3 nights in Santorini. It was a truly amazing trip. All the guides hired by the travel agency (Athens and Delos day trip) were knowledgeable and friendly. The transfers and transportation was timely and efficient. The hotel in Mykonos (Myconian Imperial) was a real treasure.....we loved it. I rarely work with travel agents because I think I can do it on my own, but this trip was truly marvelous because of Anastasia's efforts. We want to thank her for all her help!!

Incredible Trip!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Anthony & his entire team from the very start of our planning our vacation to Greece all the way through of traveling back home to Chicago. Anthony & his team ensured our entire trip was seamless. We started in Athens for 24 hours, then to Mykonos for 4 days and then Santorini for 4 days. The planning & attention to detail made the whole trip one of the best travel experiences of our life. Anthony & his team were referred to us by a couple of other friends who had also worked with them for their vacations to Greece over the past few years & we will continue referring Anthony to anyone we know who is traveling to Greece because of our incredible experience!
